Accounts Division

Providing financial services while ensuring an uninterrupted flow of financial information and management systems for the Public Service Commission office. The following activities are carried out for this purpose.

    double-right Preparing and implementing financial plans for the Uva Provincial Public Service Commission office.
    double-right Supplying goods and services to the office's divisions.
    double-right Managing fixed assets of the Uva Provincial Public Service Commission office.
    double-right Providing guidance and consultations on financial matters.
    double-right Providing updated information to the Secretary (the accounting officer) about the activities of the accounts division.
    double-right Coordinating financial activities among divisions.
    double-right Executing procurement activities of the Uva Provincial Public Service Commission office.
    double-right Responding to audit queries and minimizing audit inquiries.
    double-right Making the necessary arrangements to provide compensation for the officers and employees of the Uva Provincial Council Public Service in accordance with the State Administrative Circular No. 22/93.

Examination Division

    double-right Managing all activities related to recruitment where the Commission is the appointing authority.
    double-right Conducting efficiency bar examinations and departmental examinations.
    double-right Conducting all examinations related to promotions.
    double-right Making the necessary arrangements to provide compensation for the officers and employees of the Uva Provincial Council Public Service in accordance with the State Administrative Circular No. 22/93.
